Black Lion Hotel Richmond

The whole place was clean, I loved it, and had ideal staff and location. The restaurant was good with excellent food here, I had excellent dishes.

We had a pleasant time in this great historic hotel in Richmond. The bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful. The location was unbeatable, only 5 minutes walk to Green Howards Museum. Its service was exceptional. Nothing too much trouble, it was dope!

The property is fairly clean with a lovely design, and the English breakfast is efficient. Kind, informative staff in the receptionist.

View was gorgeous, breakfast was savoury, and beds were comfy. The breakfast was included. The room was well stocked and brand-new, with a convenient design.

Brilliant position along with amicable staff are the reasons we loved this quirky hotel. Would recomand for one night.

Absolutely helpful staff, simply perfect location. The hotel was centrally located for travelling through Richmond. Plunge swimming pool and lobby bar were there. Fabulous short stay, I loved it.

The hotel was centrally set in a superb area. The beach nearby was astonishing and the view was unbelievable. The plunge pool was a nice bonus too. I didn't feel like leaving, had a fun experience and would want to stay there again.

Family vibe, beautiful location and staff. The bed was great and it was great having balcony, WiFi and terrace. Very specious and very well maintained bathroom. We loved that this smallish hotel is set in the splendid area.

Decent location, impeccable staff, good food. Variety of food for breakfast including fresh fruit, bakery, fresh bread, meats and cheese. The pool was clean and the views were superior.

Breakfast is plentiful and staff is cheerful! It's nicely furnished with lovely beds and absolutely gorgeous views.

You guys made our stay lovely. It had every detail we needed, we loved staff and location. Room was large and complete with bathtub. Easy check-in.

Every time in Richmond we stay in this hotel. Great food, good value. Moreover, it was easy to find car parking onsite.

The reason we greatly enjoyed it was good drinks and rooms. Bar staff are the nicest people. A nice bar does the trick.

TBH, the street was noisy.

All of the staff were really FRIENDLY. One of the dining options, Barretts, was 5 mins walk away.

our favourite hotel in richmond, stuff was loyal. the entire experience was great. rustique, where you can eat, is within walking distance to the property. our double room accommodated us perfectly.
